Rimi Ward
Rimi Ward lies at the northern border of Bassa LGA. It encompasses Bugu, Chokoro, Gimi, Kabake, P/Sonko, Rema, and Tioere. The people here are ethnically lemoro, chokobo, and the area is largely rural farming land. Politically, Rimi ward voters help elect the Pengana Constituency representative. There is no separate chieftaincy in Rimi (it answers to Pengana). Development concerns include the state of the federal highway (which passes through Bakin Kogi) and access to clinics; Rimi villagers often rely on Jengre or Bassa town for services.
