Kishika Ward
Kishika Ward lies east of Miango (Irigwe chiefdom). It includes the villages of Binchin I & II, Buyo, Kassakuk, Kisanchi I & II, Kishi I–III, and Kumel. These are Irigwe communities (Rigwe language) in a hilly area. Agriculture (guinea corn, soya) is the mainstay. Kishika has a ward councilor in Rukuba/Irigwe constituency and is typically aligned with Irigwe chiefdom interests. This area has seen some militant herder activity in recent years (as part of the wider Bassa conflicts noted above). The community leaders have been active in Irigwe peace initiatives. Being somewhat remote, Kishika also lobbies for schools and roads
